Biography

She was born in Tula (Russia) on May, 17, 1988. At secondary school she won awards at regional Russian olymdiads on chemistry. In 2005 she entered Department of Materials Science of Lomonosov Moscow State University as a winner of Lomonosov olympiad with the first place in the rating of participants. She got a Bachelor degree in Materials Science and Master degree in Chemistry (both with distinction and the highest score) at Depertment of Materials Science of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia) [1] in 2009 and 2011, respectively. During studies she visited as an intern Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin (Berlin, Germany), GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung (Darmstadt, Germany) and Drexel University (Philadelphia, USA). As a student she won numerous awards, including Russian Internet-Olymdiad on Nanotechnologies [2], where she was an absolute winner in 2009 [3, 4]. In 2013 she defended the PhD thesis in Chemistry titled "Nanocomposites on basis of single-walled carbon nanotubes: synthesis and modification of the electronic structure" at Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2011 she won the DOC-fFORTE fellowship of the Austrian Academy of Sciences [5] for women in science and in 2012 entered the PhD studies at the Faculty of Physics of University of Vienna (Vienna, Austria) [6]. In 2016 she got the second PhD degree in Physics with excellence and the title Doktorin der Naturwissenschaften (Dr. rer. nat.) with the thesis titled "Revealing the growth mechanism of double-walled carbon nanotubes with tailored properties using in situ studies of nanochemical reactions inside metallocene-filled single-walled carbon nanotubes" at the University of Vienna. She worked as a postdoc at the Faculty of Physics of University of Vienna from 2016 until 2017, at the Institute of Materials Chemistry of Vienna University of Technology (Vienna, Austria) from 2017 until 2020 and at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology from 2020 until 2022 [7] and at Centre of Advanced Material Applications from 2021 until now. Her research interests include filling, electronic properties, growth mechanism and sorting of single-walled carbon nanotubes. She co-authored 92 publications: 3 books, 7 book chapters and 61 peer-reviewed research articles (including 8 reviews) and 21 conference proceedings.
