Kamyar Khoshsirat Janekbary (presenter) is a chemical engineer pursuing his second master's degree in microbiology and biotechnology at the National Institute of Scientific Research (INRS), and affiliated to the NRC. Catherine Blanchard, a microbiologist at the NRC, contributes her extensive expertise in microbial processes, ensuring the smooth operation of research activities. Dr. Philippe Constant, an associate professor at INRS and expert in biotechnologies, microbiology and secondary metabolisms, has numerous well-cited publications in microbiology and has guided the next generation of scientists through his mentorship. Ruxandra Cimpoia, a senior engineering lead and researcher at the NRC, has over 25 years of experience in leading multi-year research projects, and several years of experience in gas fermentation projects. Dr. Charles-David Dubé, a research officer at the NRC who specializing in biomethanation projects. He has been pivotal in advancing the understanding of microbial processes for clean energy production. Together, this diverse team combines their expertise to drive forward innovative research in clean, renewable fuels, contributing to the broader goal of sustainable energy.
